Terms of Services
Last updated: August 28. 2026
Applies to: judemichael.me and the branding, web design and development, and custom solutions work delivered through it.
These terms cover what happens when you engage Jude Michael Panotes ("I," "me") for a project or an ongoing plan. Reaching out through the contact form, replying to a quote, or paying a deposit means you agree to them.
1. Services covered
Branding & Visual Identity, Web Design & Development, and Custom Solutions (apps, CRM, automation, and AI — in development, not yet sold), plus optional ongoing plans: website care, hosting, and email.
2. How a project starts
A project begins with a conversation about your goals and audience, followed by a written, itemized quote and timeline. No work starts, and no deposit is charged, until you've approved that quote. Quotes are estimates of scope and price based on what's discussed at the time — anything discovered later that changes the scope is handled as a change request (Section 5), not silently absorbed or silently charged.
3. Pricing and payment
Every project gets an itemized quote up front. No hourly billing, no hidden fees.
Payment is paid in full, can be split into a deposit before work begins and a balance at delivery, or a milestone schedule for larger projects — the specific split is stated in your quote. Ongoing plans (care, hosting, email) are billed on the recurring cycle you choose and renew automatically until cancelled.
I don't store your full card number, CVC, or bank credentials — see the Privacy Policy for how payment data is handled.
4. Revisions
Each project includes a set number of revision rounds, stated in your quote. A "round" means one consolidated set of feedback delivered together, not ongoing back-and-forth edits. Revisions beyond the included count are quoted as an add-on before the work happens, never added silently to the invoice.
5. Change requests
Anything outside the agreed scope — new pages, added features, a direction change after concepts are approved — is quoted separately as a change request before work on it starts.
6. Timeline
Timelines are estimates that assume timely feedback. If you go more than 10 business days without responding at any stage, the timeline extends accordingly and the project may be paused; work resumes once feedback arrives.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Cancel before work begins, and the deposit is refunded minus a small administrative fee. Cancel after work has started, and the deposit is non-refundable; any additional work completed to that point is billed at a prorated rate against the total quote.
For ongoing plans: cancel anytime, and the plan stays active through the end of the period already paid for. No refund for the unused portion of a partial period.
8. Ownership and usage rights
Work in progress — concepts, drafts, unapproved revisions — remains my property until the project is paid in full. Once paid in full, all final files and usage rights transfer to you.
I may reference completed work in my portfolio and marketing, including a project case study, unless you ask me not to. I won't share confidential business details in that context — see Section 9.
9. Confidentiality
Business details you share during a project — financials, internal processes, unreleased plans — are kept confidential and aren't shared or referenced publicly without your permission, including in portfolio case studies, which are only published with your consent.
10. Third-party and ongoing costs
Any subscription, hosting, domain, payment-processor, or platform fee tied to your delivered project is your own cost and account, unless it's explicitly bundled into the quote (for example, a managed hosting add-on).
11. Support window
Each project includes support for fixing genuine defects — something that doesn't work as delivered — for 14 days after final delivery, at no extra charge. New requests, changes of mind, or anything beyond a defect fix fall under an ongoing plan or a new change request.
12. Your responsibilities
You're responsible for providing accurate information about your business, timely feedback during revision rounds, and the rights to any material you provide me (photos, copy, existing brand assets) for use in your project. I'll assume anything you send me is yours to use unless you tell me otherwise.
13. Limitation of liability
I'll do the work carefully and to the standard described in your quote. To the extent allowed by law, I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of a delivered project, and my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for that specific project.
14. Communication
Messages are read and answered personally, typically within one business day.
15. Governing terms
These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16. Changes to these terms
These terms are updated as the services or business practices change. The date at the top always shows the current version. For a change that materially affects an active project or plan, I'll contact you directly rather than relying on you noticing an updated date.
